A juried group exhibition at the Target Gallery in the Torpedo Factory in Richmond, Virginia on view from August 9-September 22. The exhibition poses the question, “What makes a habitat a home?”
The juror for this exhibition was Ellyn Weiss, a D.C.-based independent artist and curator, who formerly practiced environmental law. She selected 22 works by artists from across the United States.

Solo exhibition at 410 Project Space as a collaboration with Emily Dziewecynski. Exhibition runs April 26-May 12, with an opening reception Friday, April 26th, 7-9 pm.

Postdoctoral Research Scientist and Glacial Microbiologist, Alex Michaud, will be giving a presentation before the opening reception at 6pm on Friday April 26th. Originally from Minnesota, Michaud has since traveled to the Earths' poles studying and learning from glaciers and will be sharing this research and experience. On Monday April 29th at 7 - 8:30pm, Alexander Theship-Rosales will be showing his documentary To Walk Alongside: Awakening Ecological Spirituality, which examines the relationship between spirituality and the environment.
Solo exhibition at Rosalux Gallery from March 2-31, 2019. Artist opening reception on Saturday, March 9 from 7-9 pm. The exhibition runs concurrently with Ashely Peifer’s wonder/wander.

Group exhibition at Kolman & Pryor Gallery running February 24-April 25, 2018. Opening reception Saturday, March 24, 7-9 pm.
The gallery will host a free panel discussion entitled, Landscape: What Is It and Does It Shape Us?, on Wednesday, April 18, 7-9 p.m. Facilitator, Sally Johnson, Director, Groveland Gallery, and panelists, Christopher Atkins, Kolman & Pryor Gallery Artist, and Curator of Exhibitions and Public Programs, Minnesota Museum of American Art; Betsy Ruth Byers, Kolman & Pryor Gallery Artist, and Associate Professor, Gustavus Adolphus College; Shannon Estlund, Artist, and Adjunct Instructor, Macalester College and Augsburg University; and Diane Hellekson, Landscape Architect and Writer; will explore questions raised by the exhibit.
Solo exhibition at Rosalux Gallery in Minneapolis on view concurrently with Priscilla Brigg's solo show For the Gods. Remnants was named a "must see" show by the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
February 3-25, 2018, public opening reception Saturday, February 3, 7-10 pm with an artist talk on Sunday, February 25th at 1 pm.
Solo exhibition at the Hillstrom Museum of Art in St. Peter, MN. The opening reception is Monday, February 15, 7-9 pm with an artist talk scheduled at 7:30 pm.

2018 MckNight Professional Mid-Career Artist Grant Awardee
I am pleased to announce that I was selected as a Mcknight Professional Mid-Career Artist Grantee by the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council! With the grant funds I will be making work inspired by the impact of climate change on Glacier National Park. Stay tuned for more details!
